ஐந்து கரத்தனை ஆனை முகத்தனை
இந்தின் இளம்பிறைபோலும் எயிற்றனை நந்தி மகன்தனை ஞானக் கொழுந்தினைப்
புந்தியில் வைத்தடி போற்றுகின்றேனே.
பொருள்: ஐந்து கைகளையும், யானை முகத்தையும், இளம்பிறைச் சந்திரனைப் போன்ற வளைந்த தந்தத் தையும் உடைய சிவபெருமானின் திருமகனும், அறிவுக் கொழுந்தாக உள்ளவனுமான விநாயகனை உள்ளத்தில் வைத்து, அவன் திருவடிகளையும் போற்றுகின்றேன்.

பொருள்: ஐந்து கைகளையும், யானை முகத்தையும், இளம்பிறைச் சந்திரனைப் போன்ற வளைந்த தந்தத் தையும் உடைய சிவபெருமானின் திருமகனும், அறிவுக் கொழுந்தாக உள்ளவனுமான விநாயகனை உள்ளத்தில் வைத்து, அவன் திருவடிகளையும் போற்றுகின்றேன்.
